I have been in this business so long, it's embarrassing, I remember using 4 dry cell batteries to power  an Ademco 100 panel, that rang a frame bell. And 2 dry cells for the circuit relay. I used to carry a trunk full of batteries, and rolls & rolls of foil.

What about solar panels? I've seen a rise in demand for solar panel security systems. I still think the technology has to improve quite a bit before we can use them reliably.

agree with that. I too use this still and its in working condition. Shocked to see it in antique.
