Any options other than the 5828V for wireless keypads that work with it?  I need to install a wireless system in a house that is not pre-wired, and it seems GE and DSC have better wireless keypads that will work with their wireless alarm systems.  I'm leaning towards a DSC Alexor, primarily for this reason.  I need alarm keypads in three locations where wiring them is just not an option.

I'd go with Alexor Buddy.

Related to the post, I've tinkered with the Lynx Touch, pretty neat, easy to set up, not bad to look at.

That is unfortunately the only option at this moment. A touch screen wireless keypad is in the works.

I'm looking to configure / install a system DYI in the very near future.
The 5100 is top of my list but geesh Honeywell is skimpy with making configuration details available to DYI.  For example I think I will need a ILP5 to connect the system to the internet for use with TotalConnect but search Honeywells site for more detail - no info.

Where might a DYI get enough detail documentation to acquire the right parts and to configure it once acquired?
