need to reset networx nx-6v2
« on: May 23, 2012, 01:21:24 PM »
I bought a home with a network nx six system installed it was a bank oowned place so there was no info for the alarm system at all. I tried all the default passcodes and luck. It is in alarm status. I have no phone line hooked up to it. And the speakers are now uncooked. It is actually unplugged from the battery and wall right now. What is the simplest and cheapest way of setting up a stand alone system from Here? Can I buy just a new control board or keypad and reset that. Or is there any way to reset unit to factory?

You are definitely going to need to get a new control panel and keypad(s). This way you can create your own security, master, and installer's code on the system so you can do all the programming. If you go to homesecuritystore.com and purchase the system through us, we give you free lifetime tech support with anything that you buy so if you ever run into trouble with your system you can always call us.
