Powerlink - Event log desynchronization

(1/1)

chrisdel:
Hello,

I bought on Feb a powermax Pro and a powerlink2 module.

I configured some detectors without problem and the powerlink module as well.

I was able to:
- connect to the control panel from internet (port forwarding),
- receive phone call after event
- receive email (IPMP configuration with 212.179.058.186 IP address...) after event

But since 1 week ago, I have a default system alert (Communication failure between control panel and IPMP server, phone line is ok) and there is a desynchronization between events list on control Panel and events list on powerlink portal. I mean events log on control panel is correct but it seems that events log accessed through portal is an old one (different messages and incorrect dates - 01/01/2000...)

I rebooted the control panel (removing power and batteries) but these 2 problems are still there. To be noted:
- Lan test connection is ok,
- Default system (comm default) stops when I disable reports (IP, Visonic's IPMP server).

Any help or test idea would be great.

Otherwise, do you know how can I reach Visonic support?

Thanks in advance.

Christian

Hello Christian,

Seems to be the same problem for me with old logs on the web interface and the good ones on the powermax.
I don't have trouble with "default system alerts" as you mentionned.

Have you solved the problem ?

Thanks for your help.
Fabrice.

Hello

I have also the same problem since 1 year and still no resolution to remedy. which is not tolerable from VISONIC.
Which can be traced back to this problem.
Bye

I have the same problem.  This is the second time.  The first time I returned the unit and they sent me a new one (new control panel and new plink/2) which worked for a while.  Now I have the same desynchronization problem with the new unit.  I hope I don't have to return the whole unit again!  I am talking to support about this now.  It seems like Visonic should be able to come up with a solution to this!!!
