I was looking at my panel today with my DL900 software connected to my panel with my NX-586E and I looked at the keypad status and it said that zones 49-192 all had faults.  I am not using any of these zones.  I disconnected the DL900 and went to my keypad and it says everything is ok.  No faults.  Why is this.  Also I thought that someone told me that I could not arm / disarm my panel threw the DL900 software.  When I have the keypad status up I can arm and disarm panel.  Did I hear wrong?

Thanks

Who told you you can not arm/disarm with DL900 Huh

Remove all empty zones from partition 1 or any other partition.

Do a cold restart of the panel.

George thanks for coming to the rescue again.
I got the info about arming and disarming from another forum.  I don't want to hurt anyones feelings so I am not going to mention any names,  I guess I should have stayed with the pro.

I think I am getting close to the end here but I have one more problem.
When I download the whole event log file it starts off with an unknown date and says unknown date 2009, 12 AM part. 1, zone 1, main door to many times to count and then it goes threw a few more dates until it gets to where I installed the system yesterday.  I have tried to delete the event log in the dl900 software but it does not delete the log.  Can you please help me with this.

You have been a great help and have made this upgrade from my old NX4 to the NX8E very easy.

We are lucky to have someone like you and the other techs here to guide us diy selfers.
Thanks

Hi hollisav and thank you for your kind words   Smiley  .
The log can't be deleted for security reasons. And it doesn't have to. When it fills up with 512 events it will delete the first entries.
