wireless sliding door sensor prob - safewatcj 2000
« on: November 07, 2004, 05:57:58 PM »
I have a safewatch 2000 which is unmonitored. I replaced the sliding glass doors which had one wireless sensor each and after installing the sensors on the new doors, they don't seem to work.

the system keeps stating check on the two zones. I figured out how to enter sniffer mode, but the two sensors simply won't register.

Any ideas would be appreicated?

where they wired to a wireless transmitter or did they actually have a wireless sensor on them or are you unsure?

make sure that the covers are on the transmitters.  they have tamper switches in them that will cause a supervisory at the keypad if the cover is removed.
