FA6150 keypad with a Vista 20P
« on: May 24, 2008, 09:59:11 AM »
Hey guys:

Is it possible to use a First Alert 6150 keypad (theres a model # on the inside FA6150KP) with an Vista 20P?

When I power up the panel, the keypad buttons illuminate.  Holding down the '1' and '3' buttons don't cause addressing to come up though.

This is on a new install - my other keyboard is a 6160 that I bought here, I was able to address that.

Thanks guys.

as long as its addressable you should be able to. on a side note Ive never seen a first alert keypad with a 4 digit model number they are usually  3 digits.

I had to enable address #17 thru programming - once I did that, it came up just fine.
